I learned a lot during intern. What I learned in university are mainly about design,but what I learned in site is about magic!
How the sea became dry land, or how the pile foundation became a structure.
How to build a structure , how those man worked hard under hot sun, how to conduct a meeting, how to calculate bar schedules, form-work, concrete, how to do survey, how to deal with client, how to overcome problems in site.
You can't solve site problems by using formulae or calculation, is depends on your experiences and adaptability.
I saw many type of personalities and habits during intern period. Lazy but always claim money workers, clever and hard working workers, big 'boom' engineer and supervisor, client who always like to blame and push worker to work faster (but many impossible missions accomplished) , irresponsible attitude of client, sub-con and main con. By the way, still a big thanks to those who were willing to spend their time to teach me, sometimes, they still double confirm you really can understand what are they talking about. ''Touching :'(
Before I get into real working life, I must be well prepared and fully equipped. Always remember, boss hired you to solve his problem, not left the problem to him. New semester start soon, new chapter of life begin soon.
